Knowing where your SAT score stands today — and how far it is from your target universities — is the first step of any serious prep plan. Our free Digital SAT Score Calculator turns the number of questions you expect to answer correctly into an estimated 400–1600 score in about two minutes. Here is how to get the most out of it.
The Digital SAT is scored on a 400–1600 scale across two sections — Reading & Writing and Math — each from 200 to 800. Seeing your estimated score early tells you whether you are already in range for your target universities or how much ground there is to make up, so your prep time goes where it matters most.
You cannot improve what you do not measure. A score estimate turns a vague worry into a clear, workable target.
Drag the sliders to the number of questions you expect to answer correctly in each module of Reading & Writing and Math. If you have taken a practice test, use those real numbers; if not, start with the quick-start presets and adjust.
The Digital SAT is section-adaptive: your performance on Module 1 decides whether Module 2 is easier or harder, and only the harder Module 2 unlocks the very top of the 800 scale. Keep the adaptive toggle on for the most realistic estimate — you will see a "Hard" or "Easy" Module 2 tag change as you move the Module 1 slider.
The result panel shows your estimated total, percentile, and how you compare to the national average (about 1050), top-50 US universities (1400+), and Ivy League admits (1500+). This tells you at a glance whether your score supports your university ambitions.
If there is a gap between your estimate and your target, that gap is your study plan. Our diagnostic-driven SAT Test Prep programme lifts student scores by an average of 180 points by targeting each student’s weakest areas. Estimate your score, then talk to us about closing the gap.
