1 Introduction
Welcome to AFEX Hub. These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) govern your use of our website at golive.co.ke/afexhub (the ‘Site’) and the services we provide, including University Admissions Strategy, SAT Performance Program, and Strategic Education Consultation (collectively, the ‘Services’).
By accessing our Site or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our Site or engage our Services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, students, parents, and guardians who interact with AFEX Hub in any capacity.
2 About AFEX Hub
AFEX Hub is an education consulting firm registered and operating in Nairobi, Kenya. We provide university admissions advisory services, SAT test preparation programs, and strategic education consultations for students primarily in East Africa seeking admission to universities in the United States, Canada, and other international destinations.

3 Services & Engagement
3.1 Service Agreement
Engagement of any AFEX Hub program beyond an initial consultation requires a signed Service Agreement between AFEX Hub and the client (student and/or parent/guardian). The Service Agreement will detail the specific scope of services, fees, payment schedule, and timelines applicable to your program. These Terms and Conditions are incorporated by reference into all Service Agreements.
3.2 Consultation Services
The Strategic Education Consultation is a one-time advisory session. Upon payment of the consultation fee of KSh 5,000, you will be entitled to a 60–90 minute session with a senior AFEX consultant. The consultation fee is non-refundable once the session has been scheduled and confirmed. The consultation fee will be credited in full against any full program subsequently enrolled in within 90 days of the consultation date.
3.3 SAT Performance Program
Enrolment in the SAT Performance Program is confirmed upon receipt of the full program fee of KSh 70,000. Classes are held in-person at our Westlands office. AFEX Hub reserves the right to reschedule individual sessions where necessary and will provide reasonable advance notice. Missed sessions by the student are non-refundable unless the absence is caused by a verifiable medical emergency.
3.4 University Admissions Strategy
The University Admissions Strategy program fee is KSh 400,000, payable as agreed in the signed Service Agreement. The retainer paid at commencement is non-refundable once strategic consultation and school selection work has begun, as significant consultant time is invested at the outset of each engagement. Should AFEX Hub be unable to deliver the agreed services for any reason attributable solely to AFEX Hub, a proportional refund will be calculated based on work completed.
3.5 No Guarantee of Admission
AFEX Hub provides advisory and consulting services to maximise a student’s probability of admission to their target institutions. We cannot and do not guarantee admission to any specific university or program. University admissions decisions are made solely by the respective institutions and are influenced by numerous factors beyond AFEX Hub’s control. Our track record of results reflects the consistent quality of our work, not a guarantee of any individual outcome.
4 Fees, Payment & Refunds
4.1 Fees
All fees are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) unless otherwise stated. Current program fees are: Strategic Education Consultation — KSh 5,000; SAT Performance Program — KSh 70,000; University Admissions Strategy — KSh 400,000. AFEX Hub reserves the right to revise fees for new enrolments at any time. Fees applicable to your engagement will be confirmed in writing at the time of enrolment.
4.2 Payment
Payment methods and schedules will be specified in your Service Agreement or enrolment confirmation. Payments may be made by M-Pesa, bank transfer, or other methods as agreed. All fees are due as per the agreed schedule. Late payment may result in suspension of services until the outstanding balance is settled.
4.3 Refund Policy
Consultation fees are non-refundable once a session has been scheduled. SAT Program fees are non-refundable after the first class session has been attended. University Admissions Strategy retainer fees are non-refundable once strategic work has commenced. Requests for refunds in exceptional circumstances should be made in writing to info.kenya@afexhub.co.ke and will be considered at the sole discretion of AFEX Hub management.
5 Client Responsibilities
To receive the full benefit of AFEX Hub’s services, clients (students and parents/guardians) are responsible for:
• Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about the student’s academic record, activities, and personal circumstances
• Attending scheduled sessions and meetings punctually and prepared
• Completing assigned tasks, drafts, and practice work within agreed timelines
• Communicating promptly with AFEX Hub consultants regarding any changes to circumstances, university choices, or deadlines
• Ensuring that all application submissions are accurate and truthful — AFEX Hub does not accept responsibility for information submitted by students that is inaccurate or misleading
• Obtaining and maintaining any necessary student visas, documentation, and financial arrangements required for university attendance
6 Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and downloadable materials — is the property of AFEX Hub and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of AFEX Hub.
Materials produced by AFEX Hub for a client during a consulting engagement — including essay drafts, strategy documents, and school lists — are provided for that client’s personal use in their university application process and may not be shared, resold, or reproduced without written permission.
7 Confidentiality
AFEX Hub treats all client information with strict confidentiality. Personal, academic, and financial information shared with AFEX Hub in the course of any engagement will not be disclosed to third parties without the client’s explicit written consent, except where required by law.
Clients are similarly requested to treat any proprietary materials, methodologies, or resources provided by AFEX Hub as confidential and not to share them with third parties.
8 Website Use
8.1 Accuracy of Information
AFEX Hub endeavours to ensure that all information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of any information on the Site and reserve the right to change content at any time without notice. University admissions requirements, scholarship availability, and program fees change regularly — always verify current information directly with AFEX Hub before making decisions.
8.2 Third-Party Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites, including university websites and scholarship databases. These links are provided for informational purposes only. AFEX Hub is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any linked third-party sites.
8.3 Prohibited Use
You may not use this website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or that violates the rights of others. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AFEX Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website, including but not limited to: loss of university admission, loss of scholarship funding, reliance on information provided during consulting sessions, or technical issues affecting the website.
AFEX Hub’s total liability to any client shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client to AFEX Hub in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10 Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from your engagement with AFEX Hub shall first be referred to mediation in good faith. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
11 Changes to These Terms
AFEX Hub reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised ‘Last Updated’ date. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
